I like your mouse mat. Its cute.
I like your background and anime collection MercuryA. It looks alot like my friends. She recently got me into Sailor Moon, I think it's great.
Ok, my desk.. I can do that..

and here it is in it's current state of.. ahem.. order.

For those interested, I built the computer myself, it's somewhat out of date now but eh I can't afford to build a new one.

And for the mouse buff out there, it's a Logitech G7 on a Razer eXactMat.
Because I'm biased towards Logitech (even the speakers and keyboard are logitech) plus, Razer don't make wireless mice that I've found. Also, I got the G7 because it has a swappable power pack which for me = no waiting for my mouse to recharge.

Plus, I find wired mice annoying.. mostly because (as you can see) my computer has to sit on the floor.
Even with a 5m cable I'd hate it. Slack + gravity = having to pull the cable back at some point or other.

I had a similar problem before getting a wireless keyboard. Because my keyboard is on a sliding shelf there were times when cable hangup - say because I stepped on it - would result in my keyboard taking a stage dive off the back of the shelf when I slid it out.

The back of my desk is a spaghetti farm from hell.

Yep. DPI on the mouse, programmable buttons..
Not ambidexterous but I'm right handed so I don't care Big Grin

Additional pic, what hides in the corner behind the desk?
This:

Me?

Yeah, LCD/CRT combo. Like you LCD is main (left) CRT is secondary (right).

As to your guess... I'm not an 'avid' gamer. I'm currently sort of 'cross studying' CAD and 3D animation. Hence 2 displays... there's just SO many tools for those kinds of programs. Smile
It's also why I like the sensitivity adjustment. Crank it up for speed to grab a tool from the far screen. Turn it down for small movements.
Haha... I'm seeing it in my head right now rossco, no need to supply the image. Big Grin
Big Grin I'm one of those visual Aspies... it just happens.
Crappy shot taken with my laptop a minute ago:

Yep, that's right- no computer!  I don't use my desk for my computer.  My desk is an art station.  It's where I do my beading and various other art projects (but especially beading).  My laptop is my only computer, so I do most of my web surfing and other *** whilst sitting in bed.

Wow, looking at this photo is really giving me vertigo.  For some unknown reason, it's a mirrored image of my actual desk, so everything is on the opposite side of where it should be in reality.
Two things I forgot:

- That black band you see in the middle of my desk?  That's my current project: a gothic choker with a giant abalone pendant.

- Rockin' maps, Ivar!  I love maps.  I have five or six of the big, National Geographic maps on my walls:  Two world maps, a map of Japan, a map of the US, and a map of Indonesia.  The Japan one is really cool because it's so oddly shaped for a map: tall and skinny.
Argh, curse the lack of an edit button!  One more thing I forgot:
I have over 300 seperate pieces of paper on my walls.  I put up not only posters and maps, but also gift cards, photographs, my own drawings, drawings made by friends, a couple of school assignments that I liked, bumperstickers, bookmarks, and on and on.  I also made a tradition of taking apart my calendars at the end of each year and taping the images to my walls.
So that's what you see over my desk.
Also, my walls are painted greenish-blue at the top, swirling down to dark blue at the bottom, like the ocean.
