Did you mean CAN'T tolerate? I don't see any guy feeling sorry because women can tolerate them for a long time.
Anyway, my looks/hygiene habits almost automatically turn any lady off. I mean, I'm almost 80 pounds overweight, have severe acne, rarely shave, have multiple skin conditions (psoriasis among others), & never shower in the morning (though I DO shower in the late afternoon (around 4 or 5)). Plus, I usually let my toenails grow for a LONG time before cutting them. Either way, i can see where girls wouldn't go for me.

I used to have a gay freind that had a real classic chiseled body and boyish face. Girls would flock to him. Thing was, he was not only gay, but the misogynist from hell. (he was a pretty stereotypical leather butch type)
He HATED it when girls would flirt with him. He'd usually make some rude piscene related comment when it would happen.
Oh...slight mistake on my part. But then again, I wasn't thinking about mysogynism & homosexuality when I posted.
The was this guy in my class who was all muscular and stuff and he kept bragging about how he got this girl pregnant and how many ladies he did, etcetera. If that's not shouvenist behavior, I don't know what is.

Obviously, I'm not exactly a looker, but get to know me and you won't be sorry.
I wouldn't worry about your clothes too much, unless you want to attract a high-maintenance type of partner. I can't speak for other women, but I prefer men that dress like it's the day before laundry day.
I'm not technically an adult, but if the above is true, I'M THE GUY YOU'RE LOOKING FOR! I just wear whatever is in my closet. I dEsPiSe people who only go for what's 'in-style' or 'brand-name' or 'designer'. You dress because you HAVE to for decency reasons, not because you want the latest style. Gee, I should tell that to my kids...whenever I have any...or if I ever have any.
