B.S. Johnson. OK, it's not really just a crsuh. Allow me to explain.
When I first found this place I noticed I was getting a low grade crush (and one not so low grade crush) on many many of the double X cromosome members here. It took a while to click, but so many of you women here reminded me of someone from my past.
The leo that I posted about in the astrology thread. I suspected that she was aspie - we both were. We always had a special relationship, but rocky (um, actually sheer hell would be a better description of the last 6 month of the relationship) Neither of us was comfortable taking the masks off for each other even though we both damn well knew what was underneath. We both wanted to fit in to the NT world so desperately. Among other problems, we forgot that we accepted eachother for what we actually were.
Last week I decided to put my *awsome* stalking abilities to use and started to look for her with a renewed vigor and enthusiam not often seen by many - AND THIS TIME I FOUND HER! (and I must say I am impressed with myself. It was not easy.)
I told her about this site. She looked into it and had the same "oh my god" reaction I had when I found this place. She's here now, a member of AFF. (B.S. Johnson is her ID)
I'm well beyond cloud 9 at this point. It looks as if I now know the solution to my "married aspie problems" - I will be getting a divorce. I know where my true happiness lies. 18 Years I have been without this woman. I shall not be without her ever again.

Curious here... Has anyone taken the crush to the next level, as in meeting face to face; and did the crush deflate instantly? Any experiences?

I'd call that just *barely* old enough to be his mum.
Some folks don't mind a big age difference. I myself learned (after the fact, when it was to late) that I DO mind an age difference if it is too great. Men are *supposed* to like younger women, or so I am told. I guess my reproductive system likes them, but my forebrain doesn't. The difference in life perspective seems to be to great once one approaches about 7 years or so in difference.

I also like what Natalie, Pakrat, tenaciouscj, and Yetti have to say. Their brains seem attractive without knowing what their bodies look like.
Now, getting off the subject of smart ladies, I like what Max the Bear has to say too. What he said about female teenagers often making boy choices on the wrong criteria, that make me bolder to think, gee, that does explain high school, maybe college, I'm not totally to blame. But it does fall short of explaining my failures at Equally Yoked Christian Singles in my early 30s, with women who at male age minus several years ought to know that a man's value is not so simply determined.

I think most women are attractive (enough for me anyway, I don't throw stones, I am heavy, why focus on a figure when just appearance by itself is a combination of things like hair style, makeup, age, figure, fashions and attraction is based on other things like intelligence or personality?).
