Hi,

I'm new here.  Not sure what I think of this site.  I mean, I'm not sure how "radical" everyone is here, but I hope we all are supportive of each other.

I want to post my site, Freeing Uncle Jimmy.  It is the poems that I wrote this year that deal with my childhood, surviving the violence/abuse (not just of my Dad but of kids at school), and finding out in my 40's that I probably have Asperger's.  I am posting this here, because some Aspies and even non-Aspies have told me that it was helpful to them.  I'm sad that others can identify with the lousy parts, but, if it helps readers know they aren't the only ones who have gone through stuff, then I guess it's worth posting.

Hugz if ya want 'em, Nice thoughts if ya don't.

Ritagail
like as much of your work as I've read so far.  will take the hugs
of course like is not the word.  I mean to say that in my opinion it is good work.  It is disturbing, it is clear, it is terrible in old testament acceptions of terrible.  powerful.  felt.

don't think I give praise easily (if this is praise)
Hi there, I really like your poems, and the title "Freeing Uncle Jimmy" is just so beyond words. I am saving the link to read them again and again and... I emphatize with your past although I do not look upon my own past as bad as your past seem to me. I am quite animistic too. The religion in Japan is called Shintoism and they believe that all things have soul. From the tiniest pebbles to big Fuji itself.

                 Nice thoughts from Sweden
