For those of you who do not know, this aired in Australia a few years back. It was based on two things: 1. General knowledge, and 2. Knowledge of a special subject.

The first thing was that people had to answer questions about their special subject. Then they had a general knowledge round. Then they had a round with general knowledge and some special subject questions mixed in. And the one who got the most points of course was the winner.

I used to love this show. (And annoyed the pants off my grandma by answering many of the questions in a loud voice - hehe.)
Was this the show that was on ABC TV? I used to be able to answer a lot of questions on Eddie Maguire's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" but found "The Einstein Factor" questions more difficult. The Einstein Factor had a much faster pace, which I preferred. The other show was too slow for me.
I believe it was ABC, yeah. I always prefer the fast pace, too. (Also shows like Sale of the Century, and Weakest Link.) Millionaire is so slow it's often boring. And Eddie Macguire (isn't he the one who hosts it in Aus) is so obviously too stupid to host a general knowledge show.
I liked the other Millionaire show hosted by this previous Newsreader who had white hair but I forget his name. Some contestants on Eddie's show weren't the brightest sparks and he let them waste too much time dithering over whether to take the prize they'd won or go on to try for more (and usually lose).
Best game show for Aspies-Beat the Geeks. I swear all the Geeks are savants. I've been able to answer some of the Geeks questions. The questions revolve around music, movies, tv and guest geek. There's a geek for each genre.
