Have any of you performing musicians attended summer schools (or Easter schools depending on the time of year)? I've been to a few early music summer schools in the past. Some I've enjoyed more than others. I have a suspicion that too many summer schools have become used to attracting the same lot of people year after year, and as such aren't so good at explaining rules & procedures to newcomers. Or they are aimed more at trainee professionals than keen amateurs.
