Ever since I woke up this morning, I've had a really weird headache... Or actually it's more like a head pain. When I do nothing, there is no pain at all. However, when I move my eyes or my head too fast, I get this pain that starts behind my eyes and travels up into my forehead. It only does it when I move. The pain is on both sides equally, and feels almost like someone is putting pressure on my eyes or something. It isn't debilitating, more annoying than anything.

Does anyone know what kind of headache this is or what causes it? I didn't get much sleep last night, only like six hours compared to the ten I usually get (because Fridays are the only days I have morning classes). I'm feeling kind of tired too. Could that be the cause? Why would I have it right when I woke up then? I think for now I am just go take some Advil and see if that helps.
Natalie, I get this kind of headache sometimes and it is usually when I haven't got my full quota of sleep for at least one night. Resting can help it.
Ah... I guess that would explain it then. It eventually went away without medicine or sleep (I hate taking naps, they make me feel crappy). Tomorrow I'm sleeping in.
Yeah. Sounds like a sleep headache to me. Next time if you don't like naps -- I can't nap either, really -- try drink some water, or something. That generally helps a bit.
I don't know whether I get headaches. Other people describe it as pain, but I don't get any. I just get a strange feeling that is very annoying but it isn't pain. Sometimes the weird feeling is accompanied by poor balance, various visual distortions (like a blind spot), and/or nausea.
