-You drinked warm water!
-You kick rocks while you walk!
-You have your hands on the back of your head while you lie against a wall!
-You don't believe in god!
-You have your hand in your pockets!

And many other childish reactions in primary school, it's hilarious what they thought was abnormal.

You guys are right. heheh Those were stupid comments. Espectialy the ones where felt some need to inform erkolos of his actualy normal postures. It just doesn't make sence to inform someone of that. |:|

Dumb lines I heard before....
-"You didn't see a skunk. It was just your vivid imagination makeing it up again."
Later he found a dead skunk Did he seriously think a skunk was paranormal or something?

-"Our Government is appointed by God to give us Taxes. Let us show another part of our loyalty to God by paying bills."
'sigh' Oh Hazah (whatever), but I personaly feel that we won't be doing God any obediance by paying a bill. I don't think the Government is God appointed either.

-Inability to hold a job is Irreverance to God.
Oh please! That couldn't be farther from the truth.

-You chose to be poor and near poverty.
No way do I ever believe that garbage! I didn't choose to be poor, and niether did billions of other people.

-Just get a job and everything will be better/normal.

I guess I live in a snobby world.

The problem is, when NTs call someone "smart", "clever" or "intelligent"
(or negative words about IQ) they are completely incabable of distinguishing
actual intelligence from stupid social factors!

When they see someone who's teeth are slightly larger, or someone who fidgets or fiddles with things, or someone with echolilia, they actually assume (going by these slightest little things)that the person is actually unintelligent!!!

We have certainly seen a lot of stupid NTs, and we know it's these instinctive characteristics that cause these stupiditys, so logically there must be a lot of stupidity going on.

I did not assume that every single NT is stupid like an NT pretending to be an aspie would! LOL

I just remembers another very dumb comment.

Me: My head hurts because I was upset.
Them: Don't get upset then. (-.-* that was stupid enough!)

Me: Bullies are mean, and bullying is wrong!
Them: Well, kids are kids, adults are adults... stop whineing.

'sigh'

sheesh. Some of the comments I read, that some of you recieved, are mean.

yep, that's a little on the oblivious side of them.

Alot of other people (mostly NT in fact) mentioned recieving that same threat from a parent in another place I visit on the internet. In my oppinion, that's not good.

Most recent dumb church comment.

Clearly, he needs to look up the word 'theory' in the dictionary!

Well one time my sister referenced my mind as being a "little autistic brain". And I can't really even be considered autistic anymore, with how I am today.

Yeah that comment made me really upset for a long while.

"Do you know Stephen Hawking?" (as in, personally, not as in "have you heard of him?")

I've surprisingly been asked that one more than once.  Apparently all people who use AAC know each other.

psh to snobby girls.  I would have my random snobby girl followings when I would say something witty and sarcastic and then they would tire of me.....Their boyfriends would date me, then I would have a following again, and then we'd break up and they'd forget about me again.  I pretty soon just said forget it to dating the 'jocks' and looked elsewear.  I couldn't handle all that nonsense.

One of the Dumbest things I have heard said TO me, was from my mom (I love her dearly, don't get me wrong)
My nephew has PDD-NOS and he is 7, and she's like, 'Do you think he'll remember us as he gets older???'

I was like 'are you serious???' He knows who we are now, he is verbal, very smart, and is very charming.  He isn't all of the sudden going to stop doing daily things, and he isn't going to stop knowing the things he knows now.  
Autism in my family is JUST starting to come out.  I am unofficially DX'd but that was because I did my own research when my nephew was DX'ed.  I am still learning things about Autism, but it just seems like my family has no clue.
I asked my mom 'Did I forget you????'  My nephew acts almost exactly like me, when I was that age.  I am his favorite  person   and he loves spending the night at my house.  It just baffles me that my mom could possibly think that my nephew will all of the sudden be an idiot (forgive the crassness of that), and not know anything.  I think she thinks autism gets worse and soon you end up in a home.

I didn't realize that I had AS when I was with my ex, which is a good thing because he would have used it against me. He said that I was too "intellectual" because there were times when I would have preferred to read a book than watch some stupid show on TV. I think leaving him was the best thing I ever did as I'm happier with my boyfriend who likes that I have a brain of my own and intend to use it.

that's the thing, NT's don't usually do that, and they may not know your an aspie, so hence the questions.  Yes, dumb, but nessessary if they don't know you well enough to know your diagnosis.
