So now that things are taking form for me, I'm trying to visualize my version of the American dream. I've always felt like what would be absolutely ideal for me, even If I could have "better", would be a mid sized house somewhere in a rainy, rural area. To live with someone not intimidating in her social graces or physical beauty. To have a few kids that I can raise to be individualists who aren't affected by stupid societal pressures, but have a healthy view of themselves and the world (more so than I did growing up, at least). I want to develop the ability to translate my abstract thought into some kind of reality, through music or writing or something... It would be great to live by a coast, but wherever I end up it HAS to be rainy and overcast a good amount of the time. Basically it would be somewhere where I would have contact with the outside world but not be immersed in it to the point where I feel like an oddball, which you can't help but feel in the city. I love being able to strike up conversations with random people but could care less about an extended group of friends, unless they're cool people with weird things to say.

So where would you like to end up, ideally?
Somewhere cool and rainy, with lots of trees.
