That was a sarcastic statement. The worst possible sin in the present day is to have a medicalized type of mind. Society deems it so sinful that it considers it a sacred duty to rule your life. If you happen to die in the process of "treatment", it was still "all for your own good". There are amazing parallels between the religious fervor of the 30 Years War period and the way that people with medicalized minds (like autism spectrum) are treated in the present day.
