  I've experienced stuff like this first hand.  Its why I got involved in martial arts.  My mother, and then the state hospital that misdiagnosed me with all sorts of other things before I was found to be aspergers.  I was abused there too.

  And it's not just us Aspies.  I've seen people in that hospital that were just traumatised by years of abuse and changed their behavior as a means of survival get drugged up with what the hospital so lovingly referred to as "chemical restraints" and then sent off into the world.

  They don't understand our kind, so they try to hole us up where we're not seen.  I've seen little girls get tied to chairs for hours for literally spilling milk.  I was drugged, till I couldn't think strait, and tied to chairs for trivial things.

  I for one hate the fact that we're looked down upon, I being treated like I'm "special" and if it isn't that, it's the polar opposite and my asperger's syndrome isn't taken seriously.  I'm tired of carrying a print out of a description of Asperger's with a list of symptoms so that I can show them to people i have to have regular contact with, like their my "papers" so that they don't shun me like I'm insane or something.

  And most of all, I'm sick and tired of getting laid off with the words "It's nothing you did or didn't do, you just don't fit in here."

  why can't they just accept that we're different and then move on?

  I know that this may seem a little off topic but it really isn't.  That whole thing with this Autistic girl is just the extreme of the crap we deal with.  But I say that even the little crap, the constant shunning and isolation that we have to deal with every day is just as bad.  It's just as bad.

  People like us, we could do so many great and wonderful things and do so many great and wonderful jobs, if people we work with would just accept who we are, and move on.

Sorry for the ranting guys.  This stuff is built up in me, it's actually what's driven me to this forum.  I really do want to adapt to socioty and have a great and successful job in the field of my choice.  It's just too bad that socioty isn't willing to meet our kind half way.

first of all I don't see how in the hell adversives are not outlawed in the first place. you spank your kid for stealing and you go to jail and are labled a child abuser (and there is a difference between spanking and beating) then you torture an aspie to death and you go free.

  Ya know, my father took the state hospital to the supreme court over my case, and many parents had done the same, and he lost, because the government didn't want him to win, because it would cost too much to make the changes.

    It seems to me that this "care center" is really getting off easy, and it doesn't make a bit of sense.  I wonder if it is a similar situation.

  BTW Bonnie your suggestion was a good one.  if we created a rough draft of a standard letter here, we could all add to it and proof read it, and then we can all participate in sending the thing in bulk.  we all could forward the same letter to all the members, and maby if we send it enough times it will hammer into their skulls that this isn't going to fly, and that we expect justice.  I assure you, justice will be served one way or another.

I would talk to a lawyer.  All court cases are logged down and put in a gigantic book of many volumes each year.  Because it can be used as Case Law.  Ask a lawyer sympathetic to the cause to help you find out all of that stuff.  They have access to it all.

    I was abused in such a place, and I trained in martial arts, including ninjitsu, in order to be able to hurt people just like that if nessisary, and escape from such a place.  Plus I have military training to back it up.

  The proceedure is quite simple, you find a target, you observe the mark for a couple days, and then you aproach the mark masked wearing gloves with an axe handle, wich makes a great disposable bokudo, and minimises you touching the mark, thus you leaving any evidence like your blood or skin  cells behind, take about 15 seconds to put your mark onto the ground, and then you leave.  it's best done at night.

  you exfiltrate to a predetermined hide out, change your cloths, and burn the ones you had on, along with the axe handle.  then you head for the bus station and leave within the hour.

  If you honestly think there will be justice through politics, go right ahead,  but from what I've experienced, the law tends to turn a blind eye, even in the supreme courts.  And it has nothing to do with revenge if I perform an operation, it's a pure and simple punitive operation.  It has nothing to do with honor, or courage or any other ideal.  It wouldn't stop abuse at a large scale, but the mark will think twice about hitting another one of us.   It's simply victory through atrition.

  and you are right, what you said is the only way to take the building down.  But also keep in mind, after a few of them wind up with pins in their legs and a disfigured face, they will begin to quit in large numbers.

  Once again, I couldn't do this without resources, but make no mistake, if I did (have resources), I'd already be on my way.  And granted most of my experience is in the ghetto, where nowone is going to call the police anyway, and the police don't really care about some crack head.  Just like upper politics dont care about us.  It's just too easy to put us away.

I understand.  What I'm so confused on is while the system may work, it takes years, and meanwhile our people are suffering.

  That is why the US has groups like Delta, for just such situations.  

   The point is, I've experienced institution abuse, and the government will make you lose in court no matter what if they don't want you to win, like what happened with me and the winnebego mental health institute.  This is more of a halocaust than anything else, and I don't understand why we have to wait so long for the system while our people are suffering NOW.

  just like in the cases of slavery and the Jewish holocaust, it did take time to end it fully, but during that whole time, we had people who were illegally smuggling them out of the south, and out of germany.  under pain of death if they got caught.  The underground rail road.  And those people are heros now, though some of them died, and most will never even actually be known for their deeds, they acted selflessly, without reward, and only dire consequences if they were caught.

oh really?  So when I saved a mans life by bashing in the skull of the man determined to kill him with a knife that was counter productive?  The police didn't think so.  They said I was a hero.  Had I not acted violently that man would have been killed, as for his a ttacker, who gives a damn about his life any way, one less bad guy on the streets.

   Or perhaps I shouldn't have broken the leg of the man who was comming off of heroine and decided to try to cut me up with a box cutter in the middle of a rescue mission?  I suppose that was counter productive too, perhaps for him, as for me, I still got my good looks, and that guy I saved at the down town bus station, he still has his life, and only one scar, on his arm, the one he got a second before I took down the man attacking him.

  Say what you like, but I could take out one of those bastards at that institution and get away with it, and if I get away with it, then there is nothing anyone could do about it.  Those people, just like rapists, and gangsters and drug dealers, have forfiet their humanity, and are less than human, I value the life of a cat more than I do theirs.

alan, I'm not even suggesting that AFF should resort to violence.  What AFF should be doing, they are doing, and it's wonderful.  I'm saying that I myself, and trained, and willing and capable of taking covert action against those who have gotten on my bad side.  Those who abuse their power to abuse others, are all on my bad side.  If I get the oppurtunity, I will hurt them.  And I will be acting on my own, not for aspies, or for NT's or for anything else, just pure and simple punitive action against those who deserve it.

RobH, you either read WAY TOO MUCH Tom Clancy stuff or you have enough field experience to know how to pull a job off, and not enough to know that talking it up doesn't help, its unprofessional and unbecoming of you.
