Well, if it was discovered and confirmed they could try and throw the petition out as invalidated, though it'd be a silly arguement is the other 99,999 signatures were from the UK, thats the way the laws work.

I think the goverment has proven with out petitions that they don't actually care what view people express in them, think ID cards and pay as your drive petitions, they are going to do whatever they were going to in the first place.
