I guess many of the top posters are people who easily dominates a conversation, the top posters are also seems to be very different from eachother; age vary from 12-60 I guess and they have many different interests.

That would be fun!

There are two gatherings like this every year: Autscape in the UK and Autreat in the US. Ken G. has posted information about this year's gatherings in the Announcements forum.

That sounds good.
What makes you think that people who post alot would dominate a conversation erkolos? I certainly wouldn't.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like if we all met up.
How many people turn up to these events?

Too bad there isn't anything in Australia, but if I could afford to go to the UK or US and find suitable accommodation, I would think seriously about going to something like Autscape.

Yeah me too. That'd be cool. (And interesting.)
I reckon it'd be kind of strange to meet someone from here.
Dominate a conversation? Not me, that's for sure.

Might be wrong then, but at least some aspies tend to dominate a conversation according to a bit old thread(one month?) or at least a discussion to be specific.

...And it's also difficult in a conversation between many people to find the best place to interject. And multiple voices tend to run together and are difficult to separate in any comprehensible way. So I'll usually end up in the sidelines.

I might more than most, but only about things that interest me (basically any field of art, math, or science). Actually I prefer speech to writing. When I write I am always concerned about correcting mistakes, because I can see what I stated earlier.

DNEB. I might talk more than others.

Despite what anybody might think with the number of posts I have done, I don't usually speak much in real life.

I once won a "chatterbox" prize but I think I was rather drunk. (And in the middle of a group of people who were into the same stuff as me.) I s'pose making posts is different, really. Sometimes in real life it's hard to find a time to speak.

Usually I just let the other person dominate the conversation. With me not really adding anything to it and just listening to the other person, even if the subject is on my special interest. Most of the time I find myself just listening to all the mistakes they are making when they talk about it, and I really can't be bothered to correct them.
Sometimes though if I am in the right mood I can talk about my interest for hours, ot just let my sense of humour get away with me.

Don't talk much. Don't post much. It goes in waves. In spurts.
