Do you think it is possible for one to be hyperlexic without being on the autistic spectrum?

I've questioned my childhood diagnosis so many times, and if my theory on the above sentence is true, that explains so much for me.

There are experts who say that this is the case, IMHO autism is made from several different things in each person, and I see no reason why one of those components can't exist on its own (and when serious enough cause 'autism' on its own).
