Not really a reading habit so much as a weird reading "ability".

Sometimes, when there is some printed matter such as a newspaper
within sight, a random word from it will pop into my mind from it.
If it's a word that interests me, I'll want to read it to find what
that newspaper or whatever has to say about that word, and often
it takes me a while to find it!  This happens even when the newspaper
is too far away to read easily. The word is never something simple
like "the", it's always something somewhat uncommon.

I have no idea whether this has anything to do with Asperger's or
not.  Maybe someone recognizes what this is.
I read everything i can get my hands on,and i read it -fast-. really fast.2 days for LOTR. at 9.

i like(d) books :p
reads a shelf of books so fast, she ricochets off the wall behine Big Grin
I read almost everything you give me, I have had just one book I haven't finished because I couldn't get through the first chapter. Though I'll try to read it again as soon as my pile of books is smaller... Smile
I've also got this weird habit that I just get this word in my head, and start writing it down, although never really on paper, just with my finger. I don't see why I do this, but anyway.
