Most of the current schools are mainly meant for normal NT people and therefore it isn't all easy for people who are different. How would a school adjusted and mainly meant for aspies be?
I'd like to hear ideas!
I am not thinking of an institution!
Rather a (not necessarily private) school where aspies are educated in a manner that fit them. Where they are allowed to specialize in their obsessions and where they learn stuff that is usefull for aspies to know.
I think it is proved that it is possible to make a such school, to discover how a such school should be I think one should research the young ages of successfull aspies in history.
What that also have to taken into account is comorbids, which I don't know much about.
I wonder if education through internet is the best option. Some good sides of it are that pupils wont get bullied or bothered by other's presence (at least not in an ordinary way) and it would then also be possible for aspies living far away from aspie schools to join in(as they would probarbly become not as dense as ordinary schools).

I am thinking of schools that could make every aspie into Einsteins and Michelangelos(Having their own ideas ofcourse). I guess some of these schools are rather considered as schools for mad people(might be wrong).
I guess some of you have imagined this Hogwart-like dream-castle that would become the school for many aspies. If it were to be a huge library, I guess it would be on the school's computer.
Maybe the AS school should be near or attached to the public library then?
I agree with ^, current tests in school have proven unappropriate to aspies multiple times.
I guess jedi is either german or scandinavian, I guess german.
I think it is good if at least some adults who have experienced many of the things with autism themselves should be available at least somehow.
I think it is funny that I have the idea of maybe becoming a teacher in my mind, I have often thought that wouldn't be too great for aspies but apparently it is a classic job for aspies. Natalia the banned member was teacher I think.

Actually I'll reply, because after the confusion of reading all posts I usually have nothing to say, because and I become one of the "forum lurkers".
Reply: It would be an online or distance education school. And in such a school you can easily choose either to chat or speak (through 3$ microphone). (although if you want to do other stuff like seeing someone, then it's good if you have a "good" internet connection)
I think the students should be able to access a room where they can freely do as much noise they want. Problem is that students would prefer being alone in the room, and then many rooms get easily occupied at the same time. So the place would have to have alot of places where students should be able to make as much noise as they want.
I also think students should somehow learn to release frustration in more appropriate manners that do not require alot of any kind of resources.
Art? I mean all kinds of arts including dance, writing and games (depends what kind of game).
I begin to see problems with putting very young aspies together in a classroom, probably ok with older aspies though.
