I have never completed drawing a landscape pic from reality, I am too impatient or have simply not the possibility. Maybe you have some simple solutions?
Opps a bit
too big
Oh well...
If I can’t impress people with quality of my artwork at least I can impress them with scale.

Not to big, they're lovely I like the one with the heron best.
You prefer pastels ??
Ahhh thanks women from mars...
I like using pastles--but also used, water colours, pencil, coloured pencils, pen, charcoal, acrylics, oils, wood, stone, wire, clay, glue, mud, leafs, sand and the kitchen sink.
I haven't yet started painting with my own blood--but I'm sure its only a matter of time lol
I love your pictures - all them them .... especially the harbour at night and the baby.
Thanks Lucie!
The baby is my son--although he's not a baby any more.
The harbour is at a place I go on holiday--in Weymouth, Dorset UK.

Here's one of mine. I've been photographing a lot of my artworks since buying a digital camera about a month or so ago and it's one of the best purchases I ever made to get that camera.

Thank you both very kindly and here's another one. I also have a photo of clouds where I played around with the colour to get an interesting effect.

Yes, the original picture was bluish grey and pale blue. I've taken photos of ferns and other plants and changed the colours around to get different effects. The only thing is, I'm a bit unsure of how to resize the pictures in Photobucket.
I hope this one will work. It isn't as nice as the one that wouldn't but is the same kind of artwork.

Hi, it would be interesting to see some examples of those.
