Looking through the posts I see a lot of people who seem so very similar to me. It's amazing to finally find people who share this.http://www.aspiesforfreedom.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Heres a short story for those who care to listen.
When I was young I was in my own world, I collected action figures like ninja turtles, GI Joe, and any other toy I could get. I would sit for hours rearranging arms legs and other body parts in order to pretend they had unique mutant abilities. I would also rip apart any electronic equipment I found to try and see how it worked. I really really enjoyed doing things in the the bathtub for some reason as I've seen mentioned by others on the autistic spectrum...and surprisingly Fridah Kahlo(artist), not sure if theres a link. My father of which I assume to be severly autistic and never diagnosed would always get very angry with me for lacking verbal skills of children my age. I tended to babble and say words like bog instead of dog or belbow even at 7 and repeat phrases like "you've disgraced me" because it was funny
. I was very much an outcast in school but somehow managed to have friends.
some other differences to note
+I have really really good hearing
-Eczema, myopia, food allergies, hyperhydrosis
+I can tolerate very hot and very cold temps easily
-Eyebrows connected(inherited trait) since birth
I may have other genetic anomolies as well
I'm sorry I have very poor grammar and sentence fluency when trying to articulate past experiences in my life but seem to have relatively good grammar when writing a story otherwise.
Also I can't quite say if I have aspergers or some other form-mix of autism/genetic thing but whatever it may be I love you people and can relate to most of you I think.
anyway...it's nice to share with people who are similar
tell me what you think of this
