To fight terrorism

All these dogs of war, must first

Cleanse themselves of lies
I like the meaning of this.

I'm not really fond of haiku because I really only like more rhythmic poems. But if a haiku has a good meaning to it, it's good all the same.
The dog's split and rule the world tactic.
This is the only haiku I've written in english (only one in swedish too), and besides not liking the amount of "r:s" in the word terrorism, there's only one other word that I can't decide upon what is the best choice. The last word "lies" is interchangeable with the word "lice", and since the pronunciation seems exactly (?) the same, it doesn't change any rhythm, if one would exist. Maybe "lice" is the better choice, since it might not only associate to "lies", but also to the dogs, since they're known to have lice in their coat.

My main inspiration to attempt this haiku is the works of Andrew H. Vachss. There's a few haiku's of his hand on http://www.vachss.com.

Thanks. Thoughts?
