http://atlanta.creativeloafing.com/gyrob...d%3A107423 this was written about 6 months ago and is extermly narrow minded and pro-cure but I believe we can take action on it.
I intent to write them an e-mail perhaps you might do the same, it will do well to mention that both Albert Einstein and Bobby Fisher are sepeculated to be on spectrum. mention that the majority of our behavioral issuses calm done into our young adulthood.
creative loafing is a free paper within the metro politan atlanta area (where I live) I am sure we could convince them to publish a cover story about our side of the arguement.
the story about the girl on the swing. She is just like me.
I did not like the story about the boy. It just shows how damaging making kids go to school and "fit in" can be.
then there was the emphasis on "how much money" all this autism is going to cost the government. Yeah, well, all the old folks cost money to take care of when they are old, so why not kill them off. And all those kids in school, why should people without children have to pay school taxes - kids don't work - they should kill them too. It can get ridiculous. They are just gearing up to accept that killing off people with autism is the correct thing to do since we are so all suffering and costing everyone sooooo much money and we will never work and pay taxes because of their ignorance and prejudice. Because no one will hire people with autism, so let them rot..
------enough of this rant, rant, rant. I was being sarcastic. I don't think that people should be eliminated because they don't work.
No they shouldn't but I'm sure somebody recently said they were a waste of oxygen. Not good.
I e-mailed the lady, she hasnt written me back yet. ill wait a few more days then ill start posting stuff on the site about their partisanship (they claim to be a fair and balanced newpaper but this wouldnt be the first time someone would say they were one sided) if I can create enough head ache we are sure to get something published... even if it is one of our comments on the site.
the main reason I want to get our veiws into this paper is that they have a strong foothold in the community, the curbie side already has their propaganda everywhere in the city, I think its time to change that.
Ballastexistenz, abfh, and I think maybe Mom is Thinking (those are blog names/pseudonyms) all posted comments at the CL site, as did Mary Grace Mauney, herself. That was a *long* comment thread, for that site.
