Wow, I would be absolutely mortified if I had a teacher that did that to me. I am very introverted and do not like being a leader in groups, much less talking in front of people. I can't believe that this teacher actually thinks that it would be productive to single people out and force them to play a role they aren't comfortable with. I am sorry that you have to deal with that.
