It's cold in Brighton today - icy rains gusting along the sea front, trees swaying, and pigeons with ruffled feathers huddled down on the roof tops.

It is winter.

And here was me wondering why we are getting the April showers in winter all in one go

On a good note though - I didn't hear one bloody seagull today

Well, here it's right now (at 3:12 PM) -5 degrees Celsius (+22 degrees Fahrenheit), and the sun is shining down on our beautiful white, 20 centimeters of snow (about 8 inches). So, since the temperatures have been pretty steadily below freezing for nearly two weeks now, it looks like this year we will actually have a white Christmas.

I would love it to snow here, it would be miraculous if we had a white christmas.

Its not very cold here and its rainy.

My goodness, what a frosty night in Brighton...  I had the heating on all evening, but now I've switched it off on my way to bed, my bedroom is getting cold already.

But outside its full of stars!

Well, today it's been 30 degrees celcius, which is about 86 degrees farenheit    Need my air conditioning on full to keep cool!

Wow, and I've been freezing half the night!

-3 degrees celsius and sunny. I hope this keeps up, snow on Christmas Day would be fine but just want to go home after two months of living with my parents dealing with medical appts. at the children's hospital. Thankfully this is our last extended stay for reason of appts. Too stressful.
