One thing that I frequently think about when I'm at AFF is what time it is in the americas or the australias.
Time in Sweden is 03.30 in the middle of the night, and it's sunday. In New York, for instance, it's 21.30, saturday eve. In Australia & New Zeeland it should be something like sunday afternoon.
Anyone else who think about this...
It is currently 11:27 here on America's Eastern Coast.
Now it's about 8pm.
Japanese word for global time differences is "jisa"
It's currently 1:09AM CDT (GMT-6).
A.M. time & P.M. time is always bugging me. Can't seem to get it into my head which is what. Ante Meridiem = before mid day. Post Meridiem = after mid day. Meridiem must mean mid day. I've never seen that word as two words before.
24H a day, beginning at 00.00.01, a second after midnight - 23.59.59, a second before midnight. No am or pm.
There's light in the tunnel.....

Ante - Ancient - old -before.
Linguistics is so easy.
Actually, Merediem is a really nice name! =D I might just use it for some character.
tis 1044.55sec here in south africa
Ante = Before
Post = After
Meridies = Midday (But the form changes from Nominative -- subject -- to Accusative -- object -- with use of the above prepositions)
Ante / Post can also mean "in front of" and "behind" but this would use a different form of the noun.

(In Asian lore, midday is the Hour of the Horse. The hours of the day follow the order of the Asian zodiac, with one animal for every two hourse. Hence, twelve.)
