Hasn't anyone seen this site yet? Yeccch. They believe that mercury poisoning myth. I responded to this blog entry with this message:

This sounds like a parody of curebies, or at least a hate site. Sheez. And the name "Hating Autism"? I guess this is a hate site, then....*sigh*.

Accept us as we are. Serously. The difference between autism and mercury poisoning, the main difference, is that one's <i>deadly</i> and one's <i>not</i>. Then there are a bunch of other differences.

I tihnk that conspiracy theory is bullshite made up by Generation Rescue-type curebies, personally. I also want to point out that mercury has been heavily used in medical treatment for years before the "autism epidemic" supposedly began ( http://www.umich.edu/~ece/student_projec...hepox.html ), so it's nothing new.

Diagnosing autism has just improved. It's not vaccines, unless of course you want your kids to get measles, mumps, and rubella. [/quotes]

Heh, and I'm already thinking of signing up under the name "foreskin sam" to spoof him by writing fake-"I-HEART-CUREBIE" rants in unintelligible chatspeak. I doubt John Best is in denial. I think he is just as aggressive in promoting his views as the other side of the fence (including some people here) are at promoting their's. He feels he is in the right and other's on the other side feel the same.
I don't think even he would pretend he is not arrogant, brash, offensive or insulting.
I don't know how anyone could presume him to be on the spectrum. Nothing in what I have seen would vouch for this opinion or diagnosis.
I think if he is promoting a cause which does not agree with my beliefs I will ignore him as you are doing Alison. This is wise and practical (not to mention rational and logical).

You are Joeking of course Timelord. You are in this instance correct in your assertion that these little hate-mongers are out of line but I tend to think wishing an unpleasant death on someone is not half as bad as some of the nasty crap you have done in recent times.
Who knows you may have some proteges here. In time they may become as nasty as you have been.

IF so and IF he did attempt to pay you back in kind, I think it was well deserved.

That is of course just your opinion that he is abusive. Acting on this perception gleaned from his internet conduct and what he has said you didn't really report him did you? Is that really true? How many times?

Dr Timelord was "leaning" towards the educated opinion. John did not agree with Dr Timelord's diagnosis. THe next "logical" step (logical is the best word here right?) was John was neglecting his son, which I think somehow was manically obsessed on so much that in the end Dr Timelord had convinced himself that he was qualified to make the assessment, John Best was evil incarnate, he was physically abusing his son by not agreeing with Dr Timelord's medical opinion and THEREFORE deserved to be dobbed in to the authorities to have JB's son removed.

Of course authorities visiting Timelord when sent by bloggers being equally as nasty, vindictive, opinionated and righteous is unfair.

That's how I read things TenaciousCJ I could be wrong. Maybe there is a different and more simpler explaination. It just seems very evident to me.

I think you are right Ian. Ignorance or stupidity is not a crime though.

I had htem both interior and exterior... the exterior ones adhered my colon and organs to my uterus.. it required emergency surgery after they opened me up ... becaues they started as a vaginal hysterectomy... I was 8 hrs in surgery with 7 doctors ..4 who were called in as an emergency.. I nearly died.. They had to sever my colon, bladder from my uterus.. they had grown together.. this is what was probably causing the slowing of the colon... and causing the constipation..

After the removal of the uterus, they had a specialist patch my colon... there were dozens of cuts all over like a gun shot wound.. Later my colon did not heal and caused a fistual between the colon to the vagina.. women's colons are attached to the vagina. A fistual is a tiny hole.. this caused body wastes to excrete from my vaginal area.. I had to wait 5 months to see if it would heal on its own and in the mean time I had to clean my vaginal area from the leaky stool..

I had to recover from my near death hysterectomy. 6months later they operated on my colon.. took out one foot where it was attached to my uterus... and re connected it.. It worked... but also my scare tissue adherred to my bladder and other organs butnot my kidneys.. they were able to cut part of the bladder. .it was large enough.. (Hey I went to Catholic School we learned to hold it in.. that gives us large bladders ) Smile

Now I do not have constipation.. but I do have stomach problems and take Nexium...

I am told that aspies have stomach problems .... so this just fits into the entire picture..

You may be right about the stomach thing my grandfather on my Father's side died of bowel cancer and my soon to be dead Mother is dying because of bowel cancer. Both sides of the family tree.

just because you are an aspie does not mean you arnt as dumb or murdeous as the regular population.

Here is a thought Flardox. If we can presume that by and large that blogs like Hating Autism, your site, Timelord's sites and Joker's are really only get the traffic from people already actively involved in the online autism community, then promoting or denouncing such sites is going to have little impact.

You can hate John Best as much as you like and keep bringing him up and what does it actually do? EvilZakkie has told you repeatedly as I believe I have. Then you believe in sharing different opinions to you makes us ignorant.
If you want to waste time and achieve little I advise you to do what you are currently doing in your efforts to bring understanding to the community about autism and asperger's.

Otherwise maybe you could give a talk at a conference on autism to 100 or so people, or maybe organise a talk to the professionals at your local disability organisation or perhaps present yourself as part of a case study in an honour s or PHD research for the academics. I do not pretend I am pro-active or activist in bringing insight into autism and asperger's to the real world but I have done these things in the past and look every day to make the right choices that will make a difference. Of course this again will probably be dismissed by you.

Shame Flardox. Perhaps when you experience a bit more of the world, your values may shift and you may see sense in these comments. You may get the respect you are looking for.

Jumping up and down saying every month or so "Didja see what he wrote now everybody? Ohhh he is making me mad!", "He is not letting me post more of my angry crap on his site" Or even your lukewarm efforts at being an internet tough guy on blog sites, is going to get you really noticed or respected.
