I just read a bit of this purulent little gobshite's blog, and the way he goes on about Amanda Baggs in particular, she should have his arse sued for slander, or his home torched in the night, too bad I don't know where he lives, as one of my good friends is a pyro and loves nothing better than setting fire to things

I would love to see him try acting the same way towards another autie blogger, Kassiane Sibley, (http://www.rettdevil.blogspot.com), just to see him get him get a savaging, and watch him be chewed out then spat back up like some sort of diseased cheap hamburger meat

I'm with you, Lestat!  We "shiny Aspies" don't fit the mould that NTs like to try to shove us into, because we want self-determination.  AFF is a wonderful forum for people like us.

I must beg to differ on this particular point.  As a population we tend to be slightly above average intelligence, and also more likely to follow rules, since that gives the structure and stability that we crave.  So no, we are neither as dumb nor as murderous as the regular population.

So, as I read the above, we are all human, therefore all the same.  We are all varied, so we're not the same.  Have I got that correct?  But *my* statement is the contradiction?  Please write some more: I love logic puzzles.

I wasn't assuming anything.  Studies have shown that Aspies *in general* tend to have above-average intelligence.  I'm not saying there's low intelligence Aspies out there; I'm sure there are, just as there are smart NTs.  

I shouldn't really be answering this today as I'm very out-of-sorts; a bad day with various NTs at work: one of my subordinates has been giving me backchat and grief all day, I'm sure you know the NT type, all attitude and smirking and using her ability to verbal diarrhoea to try to make me look stupid.  Then another one lost some of my books I'd lent her; I've been asking for them back for over a month and only found out today that SHE LENT THEM ON and can't remember who to.  And finally, something which I'd been on one of my NT colleagues backs about to get done, assured it had been more than once, and now find out if wasn't done.  So NTs are not my favourite people at the moment.   Probably you know smart, polite, hard-working ones with reasonable focus and  a good work ethic.  I've not been so lucky.
