I hate pushy salespeople that always ask me if I need help with something, even when I obviously don't. And even after I say no, they still hang around like a bunch of vultures watching a dying animal. I need help I'll go and ask for it myself.
That last sentence should read "If I need help".
I hate everyone at my school (students). They're all the same.
What's a prep?
Preps=those obnoxious kids who group together and pay way too much money for designer clothes that are intentionally ratty-looking. They usually listen to stuff like Dave Matthews Band (good) and John Mayer (not very good) and pretty much follow the latest trends at Abercrombie, American Eagle, Aeropostale, etc, even though they often end up with hideous footwear such as Ugg boots and Crocs.
I don't meet that many preps now that I'm not in high school and I'm on sabbatical from college, but man they suck.
I hate when people who know almost nothing about music try to start conversations with me about a band they like, often because they see me wearing a shirt of that band. Usually people who only know the singles but still "love" that band. Then there are all those people (usually scene kids) who talk about how great some lousy emo or indie-scene band is without being able to give an actual musical reason for why the band is good. "Well, they don't care if tons of people like their music" and then something implying that music that is commercially successful automatically sucks. Originality is worthless if it totally sucks.
Anyway, sorry about that musical rant; it's just that music is my thing and I don't like seeing people who don't know anything about it try to come off as experts.
You just reminded me of something. Just a random question I wanna ask. I've been wondering this for a long time. WHY is "smells like teen spirit" everyone's favorite nirvana song? I just don't get why. Do you ever wonder about that? Personally, I love that song but I don't think it's their best one. "come as you are" is probably the best on "nevermind" imho.
"Teen Spirit" is probably everyone's favorite Nirvana song because it's the one everyone knows. But talk to someone who's really into Nirvana and that person probably has another favorite Nirvana song.
Sometimes, being at school really BLOWS! For starters, most of them are druggies (I'm in a self-contained class), most of them like rap (Most of it is CRAP!), & most of them are just plain-old stupid. They'll be sorry when they get a house and they go to a homeless shelter because they couldn't balance a freakin' mortgage. At least I'm TRYING to PASS high school so I can actually GET a god job and have a DECENT living! One day, those morons will suffer because they invested more time in socializing, drug use, & personal looks than schoolwork and getting through high school. I wouldn't be surprised if their 'graduation' is in the front page of the newspaper!
After all:
"You might be a redneck if your high school graduation is/was the headline of the local paper."
"You might be a redneck if you think the ability to hold on to a job is overrated."
I SWEAR TO GO THAT THOSE COKE-SNORTING, POT-PUFFING, CHUG-A-LUGGING, CAMEL-SMOKING NUTHEADS WIL PAY! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I get annoyed too by people who care more about socializing than schoolwork.......but come on, man, don't diss pot-puffing! There would be a lot less violence in the world if more people had that hobby.
As for rap--that's funny--you know what? For years I hated rap, then I just got used to it as time went by, and these days there's a lot of rap that I like. You ever notice when you like certain music just because it's familiar to you?
I know...Hell people bug me almost as much as I bug them... almost...
I haven't heared the expression half-people but I agree that discriminating against mentally *** people isn't right.
I don't hate everyone... but I hate them in groups... people can be fine individually but once they start to think that they have to prove themselves to others they behave in a completely different, irrational manner...
hey druggies aren't all bad people... just misguided... there are better ways to deal with problems... but then again there are worse...
Isn't Ipswich where "the covenant" took place.
We could live without them but I'm not going to go and shoot them all... Thats what nukes are for...
I would say we could happily live without abou a third of our population, they do nothing, they serve no purpose, they just keep the chain of scrubber parents - underage kids - underage parents going and I really really hate that. I think those that don't want to work should have to do community service for their benefits money or else get none. That woul dget them into a job pronto.
There was a story in todays papers about 2 people who were vandalising trains with graffiti and they were on the tracks and they got run over by a tube train. You know what I think, good f***ing riddance.
It was the same with the guy responsible for killing prostitutes in Ipswich Nov/Dec 2006, good on him. It sounds harsh but i have really really low tolerance levels of people like that.
I cannot believe you would say sh*t like that. You sound like an elitist. People are just people. No one is better than someone else. It was either Beethoven or Mozart or somebody who was born as the 7th child to a really poor single mom and the pregnancy was an unwanted one. An accident. She could barely afford to feed her kids, and she was either divorced or never married or a widow or something.....
Yet still... they are a pain in the ***
this arguement is getting stupid...
A bit off topic too...

You've all seen the man at the liquor store begging for your change.
The hair on his face is dirty, dreadlocks there for the mane.
He asks a man for what he can spare with shame in his eyes.
"Get a job you **** slob" is all he replies.
God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in his shoes,
Cuz then you really might know what it's like to sing the blues.
Yea then you really might know what it's like,
What it's like
What it's like

People are not poor by choice. Ask people on welfare if they would rather NOT be on welfare. Chances are they would say yes. Not to mention, some people are not capable of supporting themselves. How many bums on the street have you talked to? A good percentage of them show symptoms of schizophrenia.
You're not an elitist? Well you really could have fooled me. You play the part pretty well.
Arandomsum1, butt out.
How about you have them on your doorstep then...
What do I have on my doorstep? I don't get it.
And by the way, realistically speaking, OK, for the sake of the argument, let's say that you're right and those ppl in our society should be removed somehow. So hypothetically, let's say that's what happened. Eventually, in the next couple hundred years (or even less) we would be back where we started. There would be the poor and the rich all over again, because society gravitates toward that balance between poor people and rich people. That's just how every society works. There's always going to be rich and poor. It's like osmosis. There always has to be a certain amount of people on each end of the spectrum.
Hah. I should try that. Although I'm really shy so once I got into the habit of saying that, I'd always use that excuse.
But knowing and understanding people as well as I do, you know with the super-powers of my AS mind, I'd say they'd probably just be offended. I think most people don't give a crap how badly anyone's doing; when they ask "how are you doing?" I think you're expected/required to say you're doing fine.
Krispyg76--
Sorry. I think I misinterpreted what you said.
