Not to be cocky or anything, but why should I deny that my music is good when I know it is? There are way too many bands running around talking about how great they are when the only good parts of their songs are the silences at the ends of the tracks.

I quite like it, although it isn't very thrilling because there aren't any lyrics. No offense, but songs with no lyrics often bore me, unless I REALLY like it.
ahh there are lyrics in both songs. But in that mix of the first one, they're intentionally quiet. It turned out too quiet and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would so I went back and double-tracked the main vocal part.

But thanks Smile
"Wake" does nothing for me, the song itself has got potentional to be much more than it is as the moment. It is not a bad composition but I find that in it's current form it does not hold my interest.

"A picture of life" I do like - it is very reminescent of some of the mellow stuff from NIN "The Fragile". It would be interesting to see with some dark electronics thrown in if it could be darkened down much more. The song has great potential and I would not bring the vocals out much more to be honest.

I like what you are doing with all of this and you have some influences but add your own twist to it all as well.

Best wishes
I'm not big on electronica or extended use of suspended seconds, but I really like Storm.
