Anyone here like electronic, synth pop, ebm, industrial if so what sort of stuff do you  like ie bands, groups etc

I loev electronic music, I used to go through a stage where I hated guitars in music especially in electronic music, always used to think it spoiled it.
Nine Inch Nails.
Did you get the last NIN album, With Teeth? I really was not that impressed with it, it did not stand out in the way other albums did. Maybe it takes more listening to appreciate it but I thought it was a bit poor really.
Yeah I've got With Teeth. I like it a lot; it's no The Fragile, but I think it's a really well-done album. He started deviating stylistically and lyrically from the albums he's done in the past and I feel he did a pretty damn good job. But you're right about it's taking more listens to appreciate it.
That is probably why it's not standing out as much after a couple of listens, if you like a lot of the NIN stuff I would recommend Gary Numan's Pure (2000) and Jagged (2006) both take a lot of influence from NIN.
Re: Electronic Music
I couldn't pass up on an opportunity to mention COIL.
If you want to hear where Industrial/Electronic came from and find out who influenced Trent Reznor,  then you have to listen to some Coil.
The only electric music I like that I can think of is "Fuck the Pain Away" by Peaches. It is featured prominently in the movie Jackass: Number Two, which is probably my favorite movie now. I didn't like the song at first, but now I like it because it makes me think of Jackass.
No, I love a live band especially the guitar's and drums. I love to buy 'live' CD's from my favorite singers.
Synth from the 70's and 80's is all my style, and for a good party I get some 80's synthpop like Level 41, Eurythmics and Toto out of the closet.

I've played about every album from Jean Michel Jarre cover to cover, however I can't play more than a single chord sequence on a keyboard.
They used to do lazer shows and fireworks to Jean Michel Jarre at the local lakes on Bon Fire night when I was young. I used to love it. I have a cassette and a CD of his. I used to like it.
JMJ is a great showman, it's like only odd events here and there but it is like no expense spared. I have not really listened to any new JMJ stuff since Chronologie and the Aero album.
I'm not really into the older stuff like JMJ and Vangelis. However, I love electronic music. Especially techno and house, but also IDM like Boards of Canada and other stuff. Lately I've been starting to listen to electro and trashy disco house.
