I'm a high school freshman and I never really had friends from kindergarden and until this year. I made friends at the begining of the year, but I'm be alone outside eating lunch a good 80% of the time because I can't handle the stress of school and socializing. My school is part of a campus and ealier this year a guy from another school came over because I looked lonely, even though I wasn't. He started to try to get me to make friends, not believing I had any. So surprisingly we're also sort of friends now, although the reason is why annoying. I just found him wearing a Speaks pin. What should I say to him, if at all?
Just be carefull until next reply ok, I am clueless!
I have always found people who wanted me to have friends annoying, I don't have friends outside of my family which is enough for me. Usually such "evil" people let you go if you just continue with grumphy answers to 'em.
If you want to get into a discussion about Autism speaks (which may end your "friendship"), you can ask what it is about and what he knows about autism and how it comes that he's got a pin.
Then you can decide to tell your own ideas and thoughts or you can just say: "That's interesting, thank you."
Because he's wearing that pin, it's not an extraordinate subject to talk about, so you don't have to admit being autistic or anything, you don't even have to tell that you have own thoughts about that subject.

Don't automatically jump to the wrong conclusions. If someone has made the effort to come and talk to you, give them a chance. Who knows...?
If someone comes up to you then I agree you should give the person a chance. The autism speaks pin is probably unrelated... but you should ask...
If I wanted to speak to someone but had nothing to talk about, i'd be knackered, I can't make small talk. You have an advantage here, talk to the person and see if you get on. They have made the effort to be close to you, that is a positive sign. Say they want to speak to you and then don't andyou want to speak to them and don't, what a waste!
