Snow crystals. It  started a month ago when I searched for a snowflake under a microscope on google, and came across http://www.snowcrystals.com . There are a whole LOT more types of snow crystals than just the ones you usually see pictures of. My favourites would have to be the broad plates and the capped columns.

I usually come to this site if I want to look at pictures of snow crystals, but I wish there was a bigger collection on the internet, excluding pictures from electrom microscopes. (They're creepy!)
I love to look at things under the microscope! it's hard to belive how perfect the snowflakes are. They look very complex. This is a splendid time to be interested in snow crystals, for i heard it will be colder in January and February than in December.

I hate looking at things under microscopes, but snow crystals are an exception. For some reason, it hasn't snowed at all in Connecticut so far.

I'm actually a little jealous. It hardly ever snows here, although more than in some other places.

Apparently when you get that really FINE rain, it started out as snow.
