Snow crystals. It started a month ago when I searched for a snowflake under a microscope on google, and came across http://www.snowcrystals.com . There are a whole LOT more types of snow crystals than just the ones you usually see pictures of. My favourites would have to be the broad plates and the capped columns.
I usually come to this site if I want to look at pictures of snow crystals, but I wish there was a bigger collection on the internet, excluding pictures from electrom microscopes. (They're creepy!)
