What song(s) best represent your life? I Want to know.
Mine are:
"30/30-150" by Stone Sour
"Faint" by Linkin Park
"Stricken" by Disturbed
Right now I feel like faint by linken park and I wish people would not turn their backs on me because I will not be ignored!

Just like heaven by Katey Melua (because I heard her version as sound track to movie by same name and I identified with the main character in the film and I cried listening to the katey Melua interpretation of the fantastic Cure song)

Lithium - Evancesance never had lithium but the song is why I do not want Lithium or anyother mood stabilising drugs. Pretty much all of Evancesance - is the lead singer Asperger's or bi-polar?  (just a thought)
Evanescence - pretty much everything, but the one that hits it home is lithium, I would say sodium valporate but that is not as catchy!  My immortal too.

Found out why a lot of us identify with Evanescense, the co-writer Ben Moody is Bi-polar, I wonder if Amy Lee is?

There is one song can't remember which one it is, but it goes something like don't fix me I am not broken.

Linken Park and Evanescense have some similarities.  I like both loads.  My other fav is Korn, some speculation as to whether Jonathon Davies was Asperger's, some of his mad humour I identify with.  Wicked bloke.

Wonderful band, one of the reasons I got into metal & numetal in the first place. Absolutely amazing voice, great song writer as well but I do think they lost their way a bit after "Issues". As for wether JD had AS or something else, if you look at the lyrics to 'Seed' then I think itgives something away :

"Every time, god damn, I look at my son (seed), I see something I can´t be.
Beautiful and care free, that´s how I used to be.
Like some god damn **** freak, I´m so pressured, I´m so weak,
Something takes a hold of me, something I can´t believe"

I adore Korn lyrics, very very personal and written from the heart. Logically if you look at the percentage of the population with AS and apply that to those in the music industry then there have to be some. Especially towards the more intelligent styles of music or the "darker" ones.

The one way to describe lots of my teachers is the song 'Co-Dependent' by Adema.
Tom waits is a wonderful musician and singer.
Here's some other accurate ones:
--------------------------------
"Unstable" - Adema
...I'm trapped, and we can't get along. I thought that I was strong...

"Bat Country" - Avenged Sevenfold
...These eyes won't see the same after I flip today...

"4 Words (to Choke Upon)" - Bullet For My Valentine
...Too many times I've seen this rip a hole into our friendship...

"Without" - The Exies
...Keep feelin', keep breathin'. SAVE ME FROM MYSELF!

"Who Invited You?" - The Donnas (That's right, I like their music!)
...you only come up to my waist. You need a bar stool to get up in my face...

"Unkind" - Hurt
...?

"Nowhere" - Staind
...All your lies & all your curses make me feel like I'm not a person...

"Fine Again" - Seether
...and I am aware now that everything gonna be fine, one day too late, I'm in Hell...

"Haunted" - Evanescence
...I won't let you hold me down...

"Wait" - Earshot
...I can't wait for someone to see me, I can't wait for someone to touch me...

"Before I Forget" - Slipknot
...I am a world before I am a man, I was a creature before I can stand...

"Call Me When You're Sober" - Evanescence
...Kept me believing were only deceiving, I'm sad & I'm sick of the lies...

"King of Mean" - Halfway to Gone
...I'll turn your world into trauma like you never seen...

"Big Name" - Throttlerod
...?

"Blvd. of Broken Dreams" - Green Day
...I walk this empty street on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, where the city sleeps & I'm the only one & I walk along...

"Just Stop" - Disturbed
...Just stop a moment & stop all your pseudo-involvement in my life...
No, I would like to though.
"Broken Promises" - Element Eighty

"Sucked in" - Jerk

"The Only" - Static-X
Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill

Great sounding song, still sounds good over 20 years later

"do you wanna feel how it feels
do you wanna know that it doesn't hurt me

you, it's you and me

if I only could
i'd make a deal with god
i'd get him to swap our places"
^^^
