You've probably seen the topic I made with the link to Congress' "War on autism."  The link to it (the topic) is in forum anouncements I think.  The headline Fark gave the link was "Congress declares war on autism. Autism responds by putting all of its toy cars in a straight line, then sitting there looking at them while repeatedly flapping its arms and rocking back and forth".  Just wanted to throw that out there.
Fark.com's headlines are user submitted.  Most of them, unless it's something REALLY serious like a disaster or a death or something bad that involves a child are funny headlines.  You shouldn't take offense to it because I doubt you put your toy cars in a straight line and sit there while flapping your arms back and forth and rocking.
I used to line up my toy cars (I had hundreds) into straight lines and then stare at them for a bit. It was great fun.
I would then slowly push them one at a time round a pattern in the carpet for hours and then compose a detailed results table.
Thinking back that was an incredibly aspie thing to do.

Back on topic what is fark?
Fark is a website with news links and also a video section where users submit links and type of funny headlines.  Give it a visit.
*shrug* I've been known to rock and flap at the same time. Most of the time it's when I'm very excited and the energy has to take physical form somehow. Smile I think, though, that those two stims aren't usually combined because one is very energetic and the other quite calming... what do you guys think?

Oh, yeah, and I'm overanalyzing. That's an aspie thing too. Smile

(Really, don't mind fark.com. They make fun of everything. Just be glad they aren't treating autism seriously--that would mean they think it's a horrible thing, like cancer or something.)
I knew an autistic Doberman Pinscher, once. He used to carefully get bits of kibble out of his food bowl, and then set them down on the floor in a perfectly straight line. I knew nothing about autism then, and just thought that the Germans had succeeded in breeding their regimentation even into their dogs.  There was another witness to the dogfood line-up, but I don't know if he is still alive, or findable.
I played with toy cars by lining up most of them, and ramming one I left behind into every other car to see where the cars end up.

Man, now I wish I had a set of toy cars. Too bad my mom gave them away because "I was too old for toy cars".
I remember the "matchbox" toy cars. They were small, painted in realistic colors, and made of good dense metal. They were exotic, too, being models of British cars. I never had very many, less than a dozen actually, but the ones I had I did cherish.

I cared more about airplanes, actually, and still do.  I love making airplanes and seeing them fly away, and  I love the times I've gotten to ride in airplanes and control where they go. (only about an hour of the last. sigh.)
Hmm, I still have a lot of toy cars (V dubs) and line them up in size order. This has been going on for a number of years. I never thought there was anything strange about it until recently.
