An avatar represents you, so think of yourself and things you like.
Try using a picture of yourself, like Tenaciouscj, a piece of artwork, like Erkolos, something you really like, like Ian, or draw up something of your own creation, like me. (I don't think my avatar actually counts as artwork because it's not very good and I made it rather quickly), or a symbol that you feel represents you or your allegiance to, like Gareth.
