Alein Duinn, a song from the 17th Century in Scots Gaelic.  The lady who wrote it was tormented by the loss of her true love out at sea, so she wrote the song and threw herself off the cliffs, better to be with him in the eternity of the ocean.  Oy!
Trying to make a CD of my favorites from the top 100 songs from 1953-1976

See, I tolja I wuz old.
Trivium - Tread the Floods

I think the majority of my playlist is metal but there's some good old rock in there too (I'm thinking groups like Bon Jovi, here). One of my shortest playlists to date - 112 songs.

There seems to be a lot of people here into heavy music, it's like being in Jillys Rockworld.

I've only recently been into the heavier end of rock (ie, Metal) - must have been within half a year and suddenly I'm all over heavy metal. I'm not quite sure why I like it, but I think it's to do with the fact there seems to be more emotion in the vocals than rock. That said, however, I can't feel much emotion while listening to trance.

Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven

Makes me feel so nostalgic (In a good way).
Rammstein - Feuer Frei.

Time to turn up the volume ^^
"Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money)" - Pet Shop Boys.
Cascada - Kids In America

Do I get flamed for saying that?Tongue
Slipknot - Before I Forget

Funny thing is, when I listened to this song half a year ago, I hated it. Ahh, how my music taste can change so much.
Lordi - Hardrock Hallelujah

It won Eurovision 2006. Damn right.
Though I'd already heard it, I just had to after pika's post:

Lordi - Blood Red Sandman

Woot!
That was a good song - I like it too.

Currently listening to "Ready-Mix Revenge" by Johnny Chester & Jigsaw.
"Cracking Up" - Nick Lowe.
"Voodoo Chile" (the long version from Electric Ladyland), The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Shellac -- Excellent Italian Greyhound

For the first time actually.
