My leg jerking up n down, my blocked nose, the computer's own little voice, foot steps from the flat above, the lone finger that types out everything ever written here and the sound of the writing itself, the refrigerator, a heavy intake of air, noise from outside, there's a bleedin storm or worse out there, could be hurricanes, sound of taking a sip of redwine, moving the chair, sound of a cheap plastic cigarette lighter spewing flame, and all the odd sounds that usually come as no surprise, a neighbor, unusually sober, sipping my wine, talks, steals my concentration, the door closing, tinnitus is what blend so nice with the lapping top.

Totally amazing B-side and yet again demonstrated Numan having an inability to release his best songs as singles and usually left them as album tracks or B sides as in the case here.
A great artist whose naivety led to him falling out of the mainstream. The plus side to that is that since 1994 he has never released a bad album

Numan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best tracks from machine & soul, although that's not saying much.

What do you think to the Numan/Fenton collaberation, I think TLS is a wonderful song and will make a good single.

M&S is his worst album, closely followed by Outland as it does not even sound like a typical Numan record.

The Numan/Fenton stuff is hit and miss. Healing was a good piece of music but not a song as such, the vid is on YouTube if you have not already seen it. As for the album, The Leather Sea is the next single, written about the suicide of a person and how peopel around them feel afterwards, not the happiest subject matter. Slide Away is a great track but overall it's an album that does not get that much play. It is listenable but it's very much like a Nine Inch Nails tribute act.
