KREVA - イッサイガッサイ (Issai Gassai)
Raymond Scott-1960s electronic commercial jingles
The Danielson Famile-Head in the Cloudz
YeLLOW Generation - Tobira no Mukou He
Sonata arctica- Fullmoon

just finished listening to some Opeth

Metal is such great emotional sublimation...
Opeth - The Grand Conjuration.

Killing Urge - Writhen (now known as dark prophet) - it's a really crappy recording, and you've never heard of them, as we've played just one gig thus far. My playing sounds great in some parts, and absolutely horrible in others. At least I've had about 5 months to practice since then, and can play that song fine now...   If only we got to record again...
Slayer - disciple

I was feeling down, and needed some aggression...
"Once In A Lifetime", The Talking Heads.
"Creepy Crawling"-  Chumbawumba
"Mary, Mary" by Chumbawumba (again.  I must be on a Chumbawumba kick)

Dr. Who theme-Original version(1960s) Cool

Does Anybody else here like the Dr. Who themesong??

I LOVE the Doc Who theme song!
There's a film about the making of the theme song on youtube:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDxFqw36KQ0

Right now I'm listening to DruidCast, a podcast produced by the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids.  It's a really interesting mix of history, Gwersu ("lessons"), interviews with OBOD members, music, poetry, and storytelling.  I'm learning a lot from it.

Oreskaband-  These are an all-female ska band from Japan that I discovered on the Interwebz today (thank you, youtube).  They are very cheerful, if not particularly original, and their horrible Engrish on some of their songs makes me laugh (good-naturedly).  For example:  "You make me happy/(Happy!)/I am happy to have known you/(Promise! Promise!)/Be happy than I/I am fine so laugh usual/(I hope!  I hope!)/"- "Cooler Society"
Fun times.

Oooh, I love Bob Marley!  Smile
Right now I'm listening to the song "Colleen" by Joanna Newsom, and a minute ago I was listening to "Windows XP Sound Remix", which is a song made entirely out of Windows sound effects.  It's pure genius.  Smile  Look it up on http://www.playlist.com and listen to it, it's totally awesome!

"O Superman" by Laurie Anderson.
