Amongst other things, blogs to act as campaign diaries will be coming soon if we can raise the money. Please see the results of this month's meeting if you would like to see this happen and help out.
I wouldn't mind a blog on your site but it wouldn't be political, more like what I have on my own site and aimed at teaching what I've learned about human beings (Temple Grandin style - 'An Anthopologist on Earth, not Mars'). The idea being to act as an acclimatisation centre, to give Aspies an idea what motivates people on this planet and why they do what they do). This is part of what I consider my mission on Earth - to act as a bridge between us and them, giving them an idea about us and us about them. I've also got T-shirt designs based on the Yin-Yang symbol of within and without, rather than Infinity as you've got but with equal validity (demystifying external behaviour through explaining its internal workings - chemical, biological and psychological (see new thread, hopefully posted today or at the latest, tomorrow). The infinity symbol is good because I think of it as a Mobius strip, which I once visualised in 3-D: If I haven't sent you a copy of the designs and want me to, let me know so I can send it as an email attachment or visit my site
http://www.aliensociety.org to see a copy, if the site is working (need to buy more space but cash flow problems at moment).
Gareth, does Kev Leitch know about this plan? Might be an idea to add that anyone who takes a blog here (if it happens of course) could join Kev's Autism Hub if they wanted to.
Blogs are an excellent plan. It's a bit akward to say this, but you don't exactly need, well, any cash to run blogs. Just volunteers.
I don't want to be involved, buit there's the Autism hub, and you could find someone with a lot of experience by speaking with them. The best way to get something done is by someone who does it for a living, or often. Drop a line to the Hub, you may find a few people who can do it easily, quickly, and for free, or at least cheap.
Blogs mean bandwidth and webspace - and that means cash. The way I'm reading Gareth is that the blogs would all be on the AFF domain.
