For my son it is the fire drill alarm at school.  His OT gave him a set of earphones that block out most the noise and it helps.
I get tinnitus and that hurts. I don't like motorbikes goin underneath bridges, can't stand aeroplane's landing. Hair dryers i dont like {theres a few that r ok}.
The only sound that really bothers me is our vacuum cleaner. I have to leave the house when my wife vacuums. (And it is not to get out of doing work, because she loves to vaccum.) I don't like any loud music with harmonic distortion or where a singer screams, which eliminates most popular music today.
lately, this loud high-pitch sound has been blaring through my ear while i'm sitting next to the faulty stereo at work. and when i heard this same noise at home, i went into the other room and found my dad using a cordless phone. i'm picking up these strange electronic signals. and i can't even be in a restaurant without hearing everything as a loud booming noise. i can't see all that well either. i have 6/6 normal vision in both eyes but i get double vision and i get sick when objects move. i can't switch focus between objects too well and i have poor depth perception. i've seen eye doctors who say *** like you should be glad you have "normal" vision and don't need glasses. i really hate doctors. they're the epitome of neurotypical.

I know what you mean!  Bright light, particularly sunlight, HURTS so much!  Even if it's just on my skin, I'm extremely pale and begin to burn within fifteen minutes, even with sunscreen on.  I spend my summers with long sleeves, hat, sunscreen all over and sunglasses.  It's miserable.  And I hate the way sunlight comes in through the windows and skylights and stuff and the NTs are all, "Oh, what a lovely warm sunny day!" and I'm hiding in the darkest corner trying not to get a migraine from the light.

UGH! I hate bright light! Sun exspecially flourecent light ok, so are camra flashes but high humidity and bright light It feels like someone is covering my face. I hate loud booms like explosions, gun shots, fire engine sirens (well as of late lately my symtoms are more fequent) don't like whisles, screeches, gongs, erractic bangs, I love thunder (makes me think of daddy) don't like motocycles reving or cars squealing or backfire. Weird smells unfamilar odors bug me and cleaning chemicals don't like the feel of wool either or anything super loose.

I think thats it

The worst sound one I have is with polystyrene rubbing together. I can't handle it at all. I also have problems with metallic noises, such as people scraping their plates with their knife, chewing noises and any repetitive clicking or flashing lights.  I have learnt to handle all of the others to a certain extent though, it's just the polystyrene that makes me cringe.
Since a year or two I'm learning to like the sun. I really do. Not that I'm baking in it every hour its there. Or go to the beach getting a tan. But I don't mind sunshine anymore, even enjoy it.

I used to look for the shade or go inside. The heat and the light were awful.

But since a few years we've also got stronger lightbulbs in the house. It's not very dimly lit anymore. I still do not want direct sunlight through the windows when its bright, so there is something hanging in front of the windows blocking that. But it has become much brighter.

Maybe this has to do with becoming older. I need more light to read nowadays. I don't like that. But I do like it that the sun is not bothering me like it used to do.

I still am very sensitive of the sunrays on my skin. So I won't burn. But it's become sort of pleasant in stead of torture.
is there a definining line between light and sound.  for instance, i can tolerate the flouro lighting in a  departmartment store for a limited window of time/much longer and the aura (threat of seizure activity) taps me on tne shoulder.  however, while listening to music in a comfortable, familiar environment, a single "off" note, i.e. a flat vocalist, sends me out of the atmosphere.
my absolute worst experience was when i got one of my serious migranes and i was at school and the floresent lights were all on every one was yelling and my history teacher brings in vegimite wich is the strogest smelling stuff i have ever been around. i could literaly smell it across the school a floor below. i honetly walked out of the class. my teacher was so mad.

the absolut worst sound is babies crying. smell is veggimite or cleaners, any light is horrid. i cant sleep in my room without 100% darkness and quiet. a bad sound is also the eletric sound fromm lights and tv and computers
I always hate the sound of people chewing on something. And I can also hear the sounds of computers and televisions etc. I recently found out our computer makes a very irritating noise when you scroll up and down (with the arrows and with the mouse, doesn't matter).
