favorite actor (bill murray, samuel jackson, sean penn, brad pitt, kevin kline, john cleese, christian slater, "sixth sense" boy
favourite actress (dakota fanning)
Well that's for starters!
"Sixth Sense Boy" is Hayley Joel Osmond, who is also in "Secondhand Lions", "Pieces of the Lord" and "AI."
My Favourite Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean. (Both); Lord of the Rings; Finding Nemo; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Favourite Series: Monty Python's Flying Circus; Dead Ringers; South Park; (There are others but I can't remember what they are right now.)
Favourite directors: Tim Burton; Hayao Miyazaki; Terry Gilliam
Favourite actor: Johnny Depp
"All the Marbles." Beautiful and strong women.
"Pirates of the Caribbean" Johnny Depp.
"The Life of Brian" Remined me to also look on the bright side of life.
"Dog Soldiers" I can be patriotic at tiems so England 5 Germany 0 (apparently, there was something in it about some werewolves who'd lost their spoon) lol
"Raiders of the Lost Ark." go Indy, go!
"The Mummy returns" Rachel Weisz and good fun film.
Oh forgot Super Troopers, All Monty Python Films, All "Jay and Silent Bob" Films"
Have you guys seen "LightHorsemen". If you haven't seen it and have got access to it (It is old and is an Aussie film) see it. It is unreal.
The Police Academy movies - sure they are silly, but also funny.
"What About Bob?" - Showing up how ineffective usual methods can be in dealing with people with mental illnesses. But the idea of "baby steps" was brilliant and is something to consider when trying to change a bad situation.
"Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" - all those lovely colours and very well done in general.
"Rain Man" - Although not an autistic savant, I can see some of myself in both brothers eg. stubbornly sticking to a particular point, needing predictability and stability. Some people said the portrayal of Raymond was too far fetched, but I don't think so. Dustin Hoffman obviously did a lot of research to play this part.
"Forrest Gump" - Very sad in parts but also inspiring.

Did you know that QANTAS was the only airline to show "Rain Man" on its in-flight movies?
Not suprised there! (LOL)
No, I didn't know that - there's a couple more I'd like to add:
"The Castle" - a triumph of the "little person" against a large, uncaring, bureaucracy and also shows how determination and sticking to your beliefs can win the day.
"The Man Who Sued God" - as above.
"Kenny" - getting to the bottom of the portaloo industry in Australia. Again, the main protagonist is a person of determination and courage and has to overcome many obstacles every day to remain true to himself.
Favourite movies: Kiki's delivery service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited away, Millenium Actress, Nausicaa, Battle Royale, Azumi, Kill Bill vol. 1, Matrix trilogy, Hero, Serenity, Sky High (japanese one), Cowboy Bebop, Equilibrium, Xenosaga ep.1 special disc (not technically a film but it is 5 hours of fun), Ping Pong and some more I can't think of.
Favourite actor: Ralf Little, Christian Bale.
Favourite actress: Chiaki Kuriyama

Yeah those were funny, and so was "the Dish"
I especially like in "The Man who Sued God" when Billy Connelly was in full rant!
Billy Connolly is cool! Also Carl Barron but I don't think Carl has been in any movies. A lot of Carl Barron's humour is to show what happens when statements are taken literally.
I also liked Chocolat (partly because of Johnny Depp).
Actually THe Castle is one of my favourites too.
Yeah just thought of another two of my favourite actors Billy Connolly and Robin Williams.
It's funny how watching "the Castle" although Michael Caton's character was a bit of a dropkick (in the nicest sense) I kept thinking what a top Dad. I hope my kids look up to me and respect me as much when they are the age of the kids in that movie.
Favorite movies: Anything by Hayao Miyazaki; Serenity (go Firefly!); Amelie; Little Miss Sunshine; The Princess Bride; Spiderman (1&2); Pirates of the Caribean (1&2).
Favorite shows: Eureka, Firefly, Heroes, Doctor Who. I've been told I need to see Lost but I haven't yet.
Haven't got any favorite actors/actresses, although *maybe* Summer Glau would fit in that catagory.... I've only seen her in Firefly and Mamoth (that crappy scifi movie), though.
Yay Studio Ghibli!
Ghibli RULZZ and is Wikkid.
and so is Pixar especially Finding Nemo.
I don't know if I mentioned that I like the movie "Kenny". The main character is a person who is not afraid to follow his own path in life, despite having to work long hours and contend with a lot of opposition from his family.
