I have two projects in the works. One- I have always had a fear of public speaking. It's one thing I wanna work on. I had the brainstorm to do a one-woman show to raise autistic awareness at college. I'm a pretty funny person, and I've always had dreams of being a comedian. What do you think? I have some ideas of what I wanna talk about- mainly people's ridiculous misconceptions of Aspies, but I'm not sure how to pull off a full routine. Any suggestions?
My other project is a screenplay about living with Asperger syndrome while your family refuses to believe the diagnoses. It's loosely about the time in life when I was diagnosed. I'm not doing it for any particular reason, I just like to write. I'd like to make that quirky but with a message. I'm just not sure what that message is. If you could watch a movie about Aspies, what would you want the world to know about them?
