This number will always have a *special* meaning to me and will live in infamy for quite a long time....For those of you who may not know: 86 is also a verb-specifically to be 86'd is bar/club nomenclature for being banned. I bring this up because a few years ago this happened to ME. The reason is that some stupid bitch at a night club where I used to go MADE UP a story that I was "stalking" her. She happened to be aquainted with the club staff-including the Bouncers. One of the bouncers talked to the club owner who decided that I should be 86d. I NEVER violated any of the explicitly stated rules of the club; nor was I ever repremanded by the bouncers/staff. It was really just her word against mine and since she had connections and she was female, they took her word for it. I have often thought about getting back at this club-even a lawsuit to send a message that discrimination is NOT Ok and that no one does this to me and gets away with it. Anybody else here had a similar experience??
Legally they can kick you out for any reason whatsoever unless it's open discrimination. You'd have better luck going after the woman who made up the stalking story and claiming libel or slander, though whether or not you'd get anywhere in court is a different issue.
Wait a few months and go back. Most likely she will not be there anymore and the staff will have forgotten you. Anyway you might find a better place that actually wants your business.
Because women are considered the more vulnerable in these situations, people are basically forced to take the women's word for it. For liability reasons, the club must err on the side of caution (which is, here, to protect the woman). I don't think you have any recourse here. She's played a dirty trick, there is no doubt about that, but I think it's best to move past it and find another place to go. It's just a club.
One day she will try this trick once too often and get herself into huuuuge trouble. Karma will kick her in the bum.

But, what goes around does eventually come around. I promise.
Not only are they hurting guys who've done nothing wrong, they make it harder for women who have actually been attacked to look credible. :mad:
did she just choose you at random? Or maybe, did you try talking to her and come on too strong? Alot of times, when I thought I had AS, I was accused of stalking but I was just trying to be nice.
She probably was just a b@tch, really.
