I drive a Pink Cadillac. Because it's a pink cadillac! I'm in my late teens, and this is my first year driving. Mm-kay.

So, yesterday, some person I don't know comes tearing down the street aiming right for me. I pulled over and he slammed into the guy behind me. Both cars had people seriously injured, and one man died. (It was unfortunately not the man attempting murder.)

I was told, "He was aiming for you."

WHAT?! Okay, so a teenage girl in a pink cadillac gets attention. Yes. But is there some unwritten rule that this gives strangers the right to murder?!!!

That's horrible.  I am sure that also to NTs that is horrible.
you should have that guy arrested, thats just creepy.
That is horrible. O: Good thing you pulled over. Too bad the guy that died wasn't the freak.
That is horrible!  BUT there is nothing wrong with your car that you love and feel reflects you!  It is important to have things that we love when they don't harm anyone.  I think that your sense of style is an inspiration.  I have driven a truck for years, before it was fashionable, because I use it for moving furniture to help people who don't have anything - I get things free from the well to do and give them to people who are just starting out or having trouble in their lives.  I also move animals - dogs, large parrots, etc.  I only use if for necessary things and drive a smaller vehicle for around town hops - but - many people looked down on a woman driving a truck for years.  Anyway - you are an inspiration for showing your style and class - so keep it up.  That person should be arrested - how horrible!

 Sheesh! That was a horrible experience. Serious accidents are bad, and the guy who caused it is most likely an arsehole who deserves to regret it forever. But... I wouldn't go so far as to wish him dead, or even regret that he isn't.

(Sorry Meiloyn. I'm not picking on you and there are clearly others who expressed the same sentiments here. What you wrote just happened to catch my attention.)

I think I don't understand this

a guy was trying to kill you because he didn't like your car?

Did he admit this, is that why you were able to be told 'he was aiming for you"?

Did you ever get any explanation for his motives from him or from the police or anyone, and did they arrest that guy?

I've never heard of a thing like this before (my friend John doesn't drive a pink cadillac, but what if somebody decides they don't like purple pontiacs?)

That is very crazy and very scary.
That's awful, I hope the guy got arrested. Good thing you're ok.

I'm usually never serious about my death wishes. In reality, I think that freak should be arrested.

By the way, there are so many idiot drivers in Connecticut that I am wondering how on earth they passed their tests, and I just wish they'd devise a system in which if you disobeyed the rules of the road three times during a time period, they tow away your car for a period of time.
