Anything good on TV lately.

Wish I had GSN, I am missing Match Game,Family Feud (w/Dawson and Combs),Press Your Luck, Lingo, and The Newlywed Game.

We have Dallas in French (on TQS), and I've been trying to follow along but not knowing french its hard.

Also Coronation Street has been getting good, Steve and Karen got married and Tracy Barlow nearly ruined it (Tracy had Steves baby but told Roy Cropper it was his and now she wants her baby back).
FARSCAPE.
I hardly watch the telly any more, being so sick of cr@ppy shows such as Big Brother. A few days ago, I watched an AFL game with some friends and thought it was good because (a) the team I barrack for won and (b) it was an exciting game because in the first quarter, it looked as if the other team would surely win. They were level for the next 2 quarters, and then Collingwood streaked ahead in the last quarter.

Deadwood and Sopranos are my favourite two shows.
I like informational programming, as well as some sci-fi/fantasy, and shows based on technology or science such as CSI and ER. However, I don't watch very much TV because books are more densely information-packed. I do watch DVDs on my computer when I crochet (because otherwise crochet would be too boring), but even if I wanted to go upstairs and use the TV, my housemates would probably be watching one of their reality shows, sitcoms, romance/comedy movies, or soap operas on it. Needless to say, that's not the kind of stuff I like... so mostly, I read or watch DVDs borrowed from the library. They've got quite a good selection of Nova episodes there.
For some reason, I don't much like watching TV on my own either.
I quite like watching TV alone. (Gets rid of the "Ugh what you watching that for" crowd.)

Don't get to catch a hell of a lot of AFL games these days. lol.
