If there was no moon the earth would spin unstablely. One month you could be near the pole (Physical not magnetic), the next month your by the equater.

A magnetic train in a vacuum is a very good idea. Magnetic trains already go 300 mph, (please don't ask me kph) and with a vacuum with no drag it could go even faster. 8) Oh, by the way because I now live on the moon, (or at least I would like to)PLEASE DON'T BLOW IT UP :'-( !

But still there would be a chaoatic climate.
