I am the queen of the nOObs and I need to learn something about my  computer other than how to turn it on & off  :razz: ...out of all the books out there, the computers-for-dummies-type introductory stuff, can someone recommend one that is especially helpful?

By the way, I have Windows 98.

You might want to upgrade from Windows 98; I don't think Microsoft is even supporting it anymore.  

If upgrading your hardware isn't an option, there's always Linux.  Or the Mac.  (Seriously, you can get a reconditioned Mac notebook for very little money these days, and they're very easy to use.  I picked up a loaded iBook G4 that was practically new for $660 over the holidays.)
