I've been playing a lot of games lately. They make me feel relaxed when I'm stressed out, and usually put me in a good mood.

Are there any other video game fans here? Let's share experiences and talk about our favorites!
Hi danilosoares,
I find games a great source of entertainment, distraction and stress-relief. I got my first console when I was 8, a sega mega drive, and I havent looked book since
Nowadays I still like to play the oldies on emulators, but as for modern gaming I like FPS such as Call of Duty, Brothers in Arms, Battlefield 2, and Final Fantasy games (X being my favourite so far).
Final Fantasy is an RPG, not an FPS.
duh
maybe my grammar was a little confusing, the ', and' was supposed to imply something seperate from the FPS games.
Awesome!

I've always been a fan of platformers, puzzle games and shmups, but I like some PC strategy stuff too.
cool
I like Donkey Kong and the Mario Bro's games as well, although with regards to strategy games I've never really gotten into the likes of Age of Empires or Command & Conquer. Have you ever played Populous? Always loved how much you could change the environment!
Yes, I enjoy them occasionaly, often for "bursts" of a few months.  Civilisation II was a good one, and Oblivion I played the main quest for recently.
Whoa! A Civ II fan! That game is amazing. I used to be obsessed with it - played it for hours and hours non-stop. Sid Meier is a god.
Alpha Centauri was good aswell, although not as mainstream.
Alpha Centauri used to be my favorite game. It really took the Civilization experience to a whole new level. It's deeper, more immersive and the backstory is very interesting (and well written) too.
I've been playing a new game, called Okami for PS2. It's about a wolf who was reincarnated, and is now a God. You go through different missions, using a brush to draw to have things happen. It's kind of a hard game to really explain, so I suggest you go to the official site:
