My favourites are cats, dolphins, cheetahs, meerkats, and tanuki (That's a Japanese raccoon dog -- apparently related to foxes.) And seahorses because they have the best shape and because it's the male that gets pregnant. :lol:
EVIL
:lol: They can't even chase you, much less do anything to hurt you! :lol:
I love the Emperor penguins...so elegant in their geeky way.
PINGUINS are the most fun animal to pronounce (if you say it like that). not evil not evil not evil.
Japanese is Pen-gin. (Actually, looks much cuter written in katakana.) I like the little ones, like Fairy penguin, Little Blue.
U know in Australia and New Zealand we don't say "Duck-billed" platypus, because actually there is no other kind? (Platypus = Flat-foot)
I like them too. They're cute and unusual (one of only two species of monotreme left in the world) and their beaks can find worms by sensing the electric impulses of the worms themselves. (The same impulses that happen in people's brains)
So I guess you might even call that "mind-reading" :lol:
hmm I see a theme forming here..
sleeps a lot?
:lol: :lol: :lol:
... Or furry, clawed, and climbing trees?
Not sure if there are any pigeon caretakers or fanciers here.
Rats like strips of calico fabric to make their nests.
Crow / Magpie = Kurasu
Pigeon / Dove = Haato
Duck = Kamo
Chicken = Niwatori (garden-bird)
Penguin = Pengin
watashi wa koneko da. mai-asa taiyou ni "nyaan"-te iu-no. neko wa itsumo neko-de aru nyaaaa....
My Japanese is fairly poor. I decided to try to teach myself, but I got bored after a few hours so I can only read katakana and say a few things like oyasuminasai.
From that I can get that koneko means kitten, neko means cat and nyan means meow. My vocabulary is growing by the day.
I love soft cuddly animals too; I've never held a chinchilla but I've seen some and the fur is gorgeous...looks so soft!
I have an odd obsession with black and white animals. No idea why.
Killer whales are black and white too!
