What is your favourite thing to make to do with cooking i mean?
Mine is a cake.
I like to make arepas, as my husband and I bought an arepas machine (it is less authentic but easier in the machine).

I used to like to make Spanish omelette but lately I have been lazy.
Mostly I make things in the microwave.
I like potatoes, eggplants (aubergines), tsatsiki (cucumber, garlic, spices and yoghurt), kreplach (filled dough) and pancakes.
I love making risottos and meatloaves. Particularly chicken meatloaf or risotto with pumpkin, leek, chicken/turkey, bacon, brocoli and some grated fresh Parmesan.
Spaghetti Bolognese.
Flapjacks

What's arepas?

Tongue Chicken strips wrapped in pastry (with rice and sometimes a pinch of chicken flavouring.)

Tongue Custard.

Tongue Damper.

Tongue Pavlova.
My favourite thing to cook is usually my favourite to eat.  Sometimes I love to eat something but it is really complicated to make and I don't feel like doing it.  I don't think there is anything that I cook for my husband that I really hate either.
I enjoy cooking any simple dinner meal that I know will make me feel good when I eat it. Peppercorn steak with Greek salad and roasted potatoes; rich spaghetti sauce with noodles and garlic bread and tossed salad; baked chicken with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli & cauliflower; chicken stir-fry with as many kinds of fresh vegetables as I can reasonably fit in my wok....
Lasagne, or pasta in general. Mhm....
Battered Fish and chips- especially from my home town in West Yorkshire.
Beef, potatoes and dumplings, all covered in thick gravy.
Infact any meat and potatoes! I love meat and potatoes.
Lamb or pork joint/ chops, ham.

After's; strawberry's or pineapple.
Chocolate or sponge cake, maybe.

rossco

Fajitas and green chicken curry with rice (yes two seperate dishes)
Whata great thread and after having read it I think I am in love with Solana....unfortunately I am going to have to save to afford a plane ticket to Canada to get at those delicious home-cooked meals.
Then again I do like Spag Bol too and Queensland is a lot closer.
I love to eat!!!

Barbecue--the REAL thing, not those lies perpetrated by the ignorant.  It's not grilling, it's not burying a poor, innocent piece of meat in a sugar sauce.  Barbecue is hours, an entire day, of slow-smoking enormous slabs of meat, possibly spiced with the occasional whole chicken.

with or without feathers and beak still on?

(P.S. While we're talking barbecues, I lived in Australia for over twenty years and NEVER heard the words "throw another shrimp on the barbie" except spoken by silly Americans who can't do accents.)

pot noodle ^_^
