Yeah, I don't understand this. It says his parents hadn't ever heard of Asperger's, so how/when was he diagnosed? After the incident, I guess?

odds are that he was an aspie but he was being harassed, as an aspie I know that he would not have done that for nothing.  His boss problably had it coming.  

But of coarse the media made him look real bad and everyone else look like little angels.

In a way I'm glad that he acted out and killed an NT and punched another one in the face.  Showed them that we mean buisness.

I don't doubt that when pushed, we can have extreme responses. The thing that gets me though, is this comment:

"He told doctors after his arrest that he 'quite liked' violence and may "feel it necessary" to kill again."

That doesn't say "aspie" to me.

I don't know the guy or anything, so this is just me completely talking out of my butt....but I would bet that they might have diagnosed him that way to get him a more lenient sentence when the time comes. I mean, the judge has probably heard a million "temporary insanity" pleas and a million "the voices told him to do it" defenses, but how many times has a judge probably heard "but he's autistic and didn't know any better!" Probably very few times, if ever. Poor understanding of the condition on the part of the judge could lead to him getting off much lighter.

Or at least that's what I think would happen here in the US. I don't know a lot about how your legal system works there in the UK.

well I guess you guys dont know what its like to be bullied and harrassed.  why else would he have done that?  

and yes he sounds a lot like an aspie to me, one that was bullied all his life.  I dont know about you guys but in my opinion, if an NT harrasses someone with AS they need to be punished and that NEVER happens because the NT is able to look real nice in front of the media and everybody where someone with AS cant.  I've been through that more then you can imagine.

From grade 3 to grade 11 I've been harrassed verbally, psychologically and physically, every school day of my life and what happened if I tried to do something about it, I WAS THE BAD GUY.  

WE are ALWAYS the bad guys.  So what was he to do, nobody would stand for him.

Do you guys agree what they said about AS in general?  if you do then you are pretty misinformed.  

If they can lie about AS whos to say they cant lie about the situation.  That guy with AS was being harassed and nobody beleived him.  DON'T LISTEN TO THE MEDIA.  They take stories and they twist them beyond belief for attention and money.  Gossip is bad, gossip for money is worse.

OK, so maybe that was a bit extreme what I said, but think, what would have happened if he didn't act out, he would have gotten fired and all the NTs would be laughing and would have gotten away with **** another aspie.

look at what happened to me, last year I was being bullied at school for a whole year and the teachers didnt beleive me.  Read at what the media said about ME!

I was carrying a weapon for self defense.  I was also sick and tired of being harassed and embarassed in front of everyone.  the media made me look like a god damn psychopath.

BTW this guy was more then twice my size at 6"2 and 300+ lbs where I am 5"6 and 130 lbs.  BUT I WAS STILL THE BAD GUY.

I wanted to go to school, get an education and live a normal life, but noooooooo, I had to get ****** out of it, but it's all my fault for some reason, yep, I'm the bad guy.  The other guy was some innocent little bully that had no other choice but to feed his wants, a mans gotta eat.  And anyways, the bullied is a useless aspie, he went out asking for it.  

Wait till something like this happens to you.  Then you'll understand the types of situations that aspies have to live with.

OK, well, I guess you like being bullied?  But not all of us are like that, some of us actually care about our freedom and DONT find it pleasurable to be someones b1tch.  

You tell me, do you agree with an entire workplace harrassing someone cause he's an aspie???

and everything you say is basicly from what you read in the article, anyone who beleives the media is a "jelly bean" in my opinion.

Anyone who beleives gossip, especially gossip for money (the media) is too low functioning to think outside of their little box.

tell me, what motive would an aspie have to kill anyone?  I would never kill an innocent person, NT or not.

what do you think, that the aspie just went coucou one day and decided to kill someone.  Things dont work that way, you need to understand at least some theorie of mind.

and when I did use a weapon I got JUMPED by a 300+ pounder who had friends all around him, I could have DIED OR NEVER BEEN THE SAME AGAIN if I didnt have that weapon.  But no, it's still all my fault.  I ought to be ashamed of myself for that.  

Hmmm but I think I'd be more ashamed if I was in a wheelchair today knowing that I got my *** kicked and that nothing was done about it.

I hope at least some of you understand that we have the right to NOT be bullied.

oh yes, I'm really high functioning and I think that it's my fault for being bullied and being born an aspie and commiting suicide.  It's nobody's fault but mine that I got totally ****** over.  thats your point of view.

I actually feel bad for you now.  I dont know who brainwashed you but you dont realize that people on the autism spectrum deserve a half decent life.

A life without bullying or being harrassed or neglected, I hope some of you realise this.

Gareth - actually you know what happened with the charges against me, they were all DROPPED and the other guy got charged with assault!

hmmmm how could that have happened??? Tough question for noctavious or w/e his name is.  maybe, just maybe, because I wasnt the bad guy.  


so explain to me, how could I have all the charges dropped, and proved NOT to be the aggressor and the media still talk bad about me?  I want an answer, I juts hope noctavious is able to understand the question.

knowing that, dont you think the media could have lied just a little about buddy with the knife.  if not then you need help.


Wait untill something like this happens to you, you could be accused of something you had nothing to do with and nobodys gonna beleive you because you cant get your message across the NT way and the media tears you right up!  then I want to hear what you have to say.

actually, because of what happened there, I am well respected and well known in my community as someone who was getting bullied and faught back.  I made the school look soo bad because they expelled me and I got off from the charges. Even the judge told me, I made a big victory.

I made a name for myself and I am a legend at that school.

what you are saying is that we should let the mafia and hells angels and all those bad gangs run the world and it's our fault if we fight back.

and as for the brass knuckles and everything, that was proven to be SELF-DEFENSE in the court of law.

my point was that dont beleive everything you read, especially media gossip.  I know low-functionings are really gullable to gossip (I've delt with many) but try not to jump to conclusions.

I've talked to many people that have been critisized by the media, they were used by the media for attention and money.
