Sometimes people work the day after Christmas, sometimes people work on Christmas. There is no Boxing day, though.

I was asking as I was making silly assumptions. Where I live everywhere is shut on boxing day, you might get petrol for your car and some of the supermarkets open for a few hours, but apart from that there is no work. Same at New Year. I usually have 2 weeks off work. I was assuming everywhere that there was Christmas there would also be boxing day.
